Description

Peru Chanchamayo Coffee is part of Closest Connection.
Shirley Caballero Quispe lovingly grows her coffee plants at the gateway to the majestic Amazon Rainforest in Peru. Her house is in the foothills of the Andes, in an impassable yet fascinating place called Chanchamayo, certain that the passion for her work can break down all adversity. This commitment, handed down to her by her father, is repaid by a very high-quality coffee. Her coffee has remarkable hints of hazelnut and cocoa, and a sweet lemon aftertaste.

Why do people drink Single Origin Coffee?

A constant search for taste.

Preparing and enjoying single-origin coffee proves to be a very different experience from drinking coffee blends. Rather than in the search for consistency in taste, with the single origin coffees, you go on a journey of researching the particularities of coffee from a single nation. Perhaps a single region, or perhaps a single coffee farm.
Single-origin coffees are rarely constant over time, and this must be recognized as a fact. Climate, natural events, and human actions cause coffees to be more or less interesting and more or less available over time.
In any case, researching and tasting single-origin coffees is never boring, but instead, is an exciting experience of understanding why the world of coffee is so interesting.
