With great energy David Muwonge continues his work to improve the quality of Robusta coffee, traveling to various villages in Uganda and showing farmers how to produce excellent washed coffee.

Omukwano represents the effort of many people in different countries to promote the emancipation of farmers and reduce their poverty. With the Omukwano project Caffè River and NUCAFE try to create a much higher quality Robusta and Arabica coffee than the usual standards in the market

NUCAFE, the National Union of Coffee Agribusinesses and Farm Enterprises, has been operating since 1995 in this difficult situation to represent the interests of farmers. Together with Caffè River NUCAFE seeks to emancipate them from the current situation and improve their living conditions.
