This excellent washed Arabica Bugisu coffee is grown by 343 families who, by offering their best coffees, seek to enhance both the unique characteristics of their areas and their skills as producers in order to improve their quality of life.
Bufumbo Organic Coffee is part of Closest Connection.
Coffee grown by the Bugisu ethnic group on the vertiginous slopes of Mount Elgon in east-central Uganda, with a taste of vanilla, honey and almonds.
Since 2009, Caffè River has partnered with NUCAFE, the Uganda Coffee Farmers Association, to empower coffee farmers to access the international market by exporting directly. This ambitious project was named “Omukwano“, which means “friendship” in the Luganda language.
